He covered some of his high fashion creations with a multicoloured rain of murrine. For Casa Vogue he did a special on all types of real and fake murrine, painting a background with giant pieces and even decorating the lenses of a pair of glasses and the centre of a long-playing record with it.
He produced designs for murrine patterned silk squares and jewels. Little chests of drawers and small chests, boxes for paper, cards and note blocks lined with special murrine motif paper, all designed by him, had been marketed. Franca Petroli produced a series of tables and shelves covered with the same plasticated motif. Ceramic plates decorated this way were made by Ceramiche d’Este.
